Maximized Stillage Co-Products (MSC) System: UWGP, Friesland, WI
FQPT provided technology, engineering, key equipment supply, and construction management for the MSC system at United Wisconsin Grain producers. The MSC system was commissioned in August, 2016. The MSC system produces a 50% purity high-value protein product and has also enhanced oil yield significantly. The MSC system has also improved overall plant operation by reducing solids in the thin stillage stream reducing evaporator fouling and clarifying backset to improve fermentation. Operating MSC has also significantly reduced DDGS dryer loading.
