FQPT provided technology, engineering, key equipment supply, and construction management for the patented SGT system at a 60MMGY ethanol facility Northwest, Iowa. FQPT utilized 2 paddle screens and a 52” disc mill for this installation. FQPT provides custom SGT design to meet plants’ objectives including various mill and screen designs and flow setups. This SGT system utilizes a grind mill auto-gap adjuster and custom plates to optimize mill performance. FQPT commissioned the SGT system in March, 2015 and has shown ethanol yield increases of over 3% and oil yield increases of over 20% for many years of operation.
